Apps

Connecting and managing apps

Manage the tools an app gives Zenning, the triggers it can listen for, and each individual connection.

The app detail page

Tapping an app in the directory opens its detail page. At the top is a breadcrumb (App Directory → app name). Below that are two main areas: Tools (what Zenning can do in the app) and Triggers (events the app can send to Zenning).

Tools

The Tools section lists every action Zenning can take for you — for example, send an email, create a document, or look up a customer. You can switch individual tools on or off.

Triggers

Triggers are events in the app that can wake up AI Employees — like “new email arrives” or “new row in sheet”. Turn on only the triggers you actually want to use.

Connection instances

Most apps can be connected more than once — for example, three different Gmail accounts or two Notion workspaces. Each of those is called a connection. They appear as cards further down the page. Tap Add connection to add a new one.

Managing a single connection

  1. 1

Tap a connection card to open it.

  2. 2

Rename the connection so you can tell them apart.

  3. 3

    Enable or disable specific webhooks.

  4. 4

Reconnect if the link has expired, or Remove to disconnect the account entirely.

Tip: When a connection is removed, any AI Employees that depended on it will show a Needs setup banner until you reconnect or swap in another one.
